This anatomically detailed model of the foot and lower leg can be disassembled into six removable parts for detailed study of the region. This model not only shows bones, but also muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, arteries and veins.

The frontal view shows the extensor muscles of the lower leg. The tendons can be followed as they pass beneath the crucial transverse and cruciate ligaments, all the way toward the insertion points. Additionally, all tendon sheaths are visible.

On the dorsal part of the model, the gastrocnemius muscle can be removed to reveal deeper anatomical features. The sole of the foot is represented in three layers, the first presenting the flexor tendons
on point. This muscle can be removed to reveal the sole of the foot, the longus tendon
flexor digitorum and flexor hallucis muscle. This second layer can then be removed to reveal even deeper anatomical details.
